CHITTAGONG: A retired policeman was killed when a herd of wild elephant attacked in west Bazalia area under Satkania upazila of the district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Morshed Ali, 70.
Local said a herd of wild elephant, numbering 10 to 12, stormed his house and hit him with the trunk, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to local Keranihat Asshefa Hospital where doctor declared him dead.
