SAVAR, DHAKA: Two people, including a minor, were electrocuted in Savar early Saturday.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Rafique, 35, son of Abdul Gani, hailed from Kalikabari village under Betagi upazila of Barguna district.

Police said they recovered the body of Rafique in the morning from a go-down of Malancha Residential Area under Savar municipality.

He used to work at Mahona Printers and slept in the go-down, died sometime in the night.

Earlier, police recovered another body from near of Rinku Filing Station on Dhaka-Aricha highway of that area.

Savar Model Thana Sub-Inspector M Shahin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said police sent the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
