KHULNA: An indefinite strike, enforced by district bus-minibus owner association, is underway in the district which began from Sunday night.

The strike caused untold sufferings to traders and common people as road communications on the route remains suspended since 8:00pm.

Khulna District Bus-Minibus Owners Association General Secretary Anwar Hossain told banglanews, “Two drivers of Khulna and Gopalganj locked into clash over a trifling matter. Later, local leaders solved it.”

Following the matter, local drivers attacked bus driver named Babul when he was going to Khulna, leaving him injured.

Later, drivers of Khulna route called indefinite strike in 18-route from Sunday around 8:00pm.
