DHAKA: Sadkatul fitra for the Hizri-1435, which will be given to the poor before holy Eid-ul-Fitr, has been fixed at minimum Tk 65 and maximum Tk 2,000.
Fitra can be given either in cash or kind.
Sadkatul Fitra Committee has fixed the amount at a meeting at Baitul Mukarram conference room on Monday noon.
Imam of the national mosque, also convener of the committee Mohammad Salah Uddin presided over the meeting where others religious leaders were present.
