NARAYANGANJ: Police recovered strangulated bodies of a couple from a room in East Lamapara area of Fatullah upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Shamim Miah, 30, a mason and his wife Sumana Islam, 25, a garments worker of the area.

The law enforcers said that some miscreants might have strangulated them.

Sub-inspector (SI) Golam Mostafa of Fatullah Model Thana said to banglanews that local spotted their bodies and informed the police after seeing their doors was open. 

Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to the Narayanganj General Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
