DHAKA: Police seized 16 more gold bars and detained a youth from Kamalapur railway station on Wednesday.
The detainee is Selim, 27. Police suspects he came from Chittagong by Turna Nishita train in the morning.
GRP Thana OC Abdul Majid said police arrested Selim with 16 pieces gold bars while he was roaming at the platform suspiciously.
Earlier in the morning, Railway police seized 34 gold bars worth Tk 1.53 crore and detained two passengers from Kamalapur railway station.
