Nepali student found dead at Jahurul Medical

KISHOREGANJ: Police recovered body of a foreigner student of Jahurul Islam Medical College from a lake early Thursday.  

The deceased was identified as Rajan Para Juli, 25, final year MBBS student, son of Krishna Prasad Para of Nepal. 

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sub-Inspector of Bajitpur Thana Shahjahan said “At night, the students of Medical College found Rajan’s dead body floating on the lake water, and informed us immediately.”

Rushing to the spot, police rescued the body and sent it to the Kishoreganj Sadar Hospital mortuary for autopsy, he added.

Officer-in-Charge of the Thana Subrata Kumar Saha said, they were not sure about cause of death, while it was presumed that he might have slipped to death.
