DHAKA: Railway Police detained a youth with huge chocolate bombs from an express train at Saidpur rail Station around 8:30am Thursday.

After detention, he has been brought to Kamlapur Railway Station and is now being interrogated.

Railway thana OC Abdul Majid confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the chocolate bombs were being brought to conduct subversive acts. Primarily we suspect that those might be used during BNP called movement after Eid.

OC said, Khurshed, 28, is an active Shibir activist of Parbatipur area, also mason of railway. 

He will be taken to remand through court order for further interrogation, the OC added.

Earlier, he was arrested during March for Democracy called by BNP and later freed on bail.
