HABIGANJ: A man after killing his wife and daughter surrendered to the police here in Madhabpur on Thursday night.

Later, police recovered the bodies of Jarina, 40, and her daughter Masuma, 16, from Gauachnagar village of the upazila.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Madhabpur Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Baset said that the husband 'Sanu Miah' came to the police around 10pm and confessed to committing the murder.

Sanu informed police that he committed the murder over being irritated after watching her wife involved in an illegal affair, he added.

OC said that police took him custody while the bodies have been sent to the morgue.
