CHITTAGONG: Members of the Narcotic Department in a drive seized two drug dealers along with 6,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Nasirabad area under Panchlaish Thana of the port city on Monday morning.

The detainees are- Ziaur Rahman, 32 and Monir Hossain, 26. 

Narcotic Department Control Department Caretaker of Chittagong Metro Sub Region Chowdhury Imrul Hasan told banglanews, “Acting on a tip off, the narcotics department conduct drive and found the Yaba tablets in a betel leaves-laden truck in front of Sanmar Ocean City  around 4:00am.

The Yaba tablets are worth about Tk 30 lakhs, he added.
