FROM WALWORTH CENTRE: British Prime Minister David Cameron expressed his keen interest to visit Bangladesh for watching its achievement in social development and in facing fundamentalism.
The British premier expressed his intention in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10 Downing Street on Wednesday.
Cameron also expressed his intention of visiting Bangladesh to learn about the art to be successful.
Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Shahidul Islam disclosed the matter to journalists after the meeting that started at 8:30am local time and ended around 9:15am.
Shahidul Islam also said that the meeting was held in a cordial environment.
Expressing his intention of visiting Bangladesh, especially Sylhet area, David Cameron said he wants to see in his own eyes the success that Bangladesh has shown in the social development sector.
Cameron also wanted to know the strategies adopted by Sheikh Hasina’s government in facing fundamentalism, Shahidul Islam added.
Sheikh Hasina also invited Cameron to visit Bangladesh.
