DHAKA: Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed her firm determination to finish the trial of war criminals and said “we want to build war criminal, militancy-free Bangladesh.”
She said “Our attempts to build to a happy, prosperous, democratic and non-communal country will be continued.”
The premier came up with the assertion when speaking at a press conference on her three-day official visit to London at Ganabhaban in the city at 11:30am on the day.
At the press brief, Hasina spoke about her diplomatic successes during the visit and the prevailing political situations of the country and prayed for the departed soul of her bosom friend, journalists, also former lawmaker Baby Moudud, who passed away on Saturday.
Hasina went to London on July 21 to attend the Girl Summit as being specially invited by the British Premier David Cameron. She met Cameron at 10 Downing Street and met several UK leaders there.
