Madaripur: A young expatriate was found dead in a residential hotel at Puran Bazar Karachi BD Road in the district town on Friday morning.

Deceased Habibullah, 32, son of Mohammad Waliullah of Comilla district, used to live in Abu Dhabi.

Sadar thana officer-in-charge Qayum Ali Sardar said Habibullah checked in a room of Rajani Hotel on Thursday night. And his body was found this (Friday) morning in the toilet of the room, he said.

Police suspected the youth “might have died of cardiac arrest, as the body bore no injury marks”.

A passport, two mobile-phone sets and a telephone guide were recovered from his room.

Police picked up hotel manager Sadek Hosain for interrogation. A case was registered.
