LAXMIPUR: A suspected dacoit was killed by angry mobs in Raipur Upazila of the district on Saturday late night.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. 

Local sources said that locals beat two suspected robbers during burglary in Mia bari area around 10:30pm, leaving them injured critically.

On information, police rushed to the spot and sent them to hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries under treatment.

Raipur Thana Duty Officer Sub-Inspector Nasir confirmed the matter to banglanews.
