Bogra: A Bogra court on Thursday placed detained JMB leader Vagne Shahid on a three-day remand in a case filed under the Arms Act.

Bogra Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Hassanuzzaman passed the order as police produced him before the court with a seven-day remand plea.

Earlier, he was remanded twice.

Inspector of Bogra DB police and IO of the case Md Abdur Rashid Sarker said he was taken on a fresh remand for further information.

A special team of DB police and Bogra District police arrested Shahid, organizational chief of banned outlaw group Jamaatul Mujahidin (JMB), from a passenger bus in Chhilimpur area on Bogra-Rangpur bypass road with a Pistol and three round bullets on July 12.
