DHAKA: The probe report on question paper leakage of secondary school assistant teacher recruitment examination has been finalized without identifying the ringleaders of the crime.

The report will be submitted to the Establishment Ministry on Sunday, a competent source close to the committee confirmed it to banglanews24.com.bd.

The five-member probe committee made a 16-point recommendation to prevent repetition of such incident.

The committee also detected various problems of BG press and made suggestions to resolve those.

It emphasized on appointing army personnel instead of police in the confidential section of the press.

The probe committee has interrogated a total of 51 officers and employees of the confidential section of the BG press.

Of them, statement of 16 persons including security guards has been recorded, sources said.

The report said weak security system of BG press caused the leakage. "The close circuit cameras failed to capture the whole picture of the secret branch and the authorities do not have any record," it said.

"During emergency period, the press authorities go for outside printers for lack of machine in BG press,” the report said adding that the secrecy of the secret branch could be leaked by the external manpower.

The question paper of secondary school teacher recruitment examination was leaked in Rangpur on July 8.

Five officers and staffs were suspended on charge of their involvement in the leakage.

Later, the government formed a five-member probe committee to investigate into it.
