MUNSHIGANJ: Two motorcyclist youths were killed in a road accident in municipal area on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Himel, 23 and Babu, 24.

Witnesses told banglanews that the incident took place at around 2:00pm on Katakhali-Makhati road when two motorcycles were racing with each other carrying five riders.

A local human hauler, called Laguna, knocked one of the bikes after hitting another, witnesses added.

However, the accident left Himel dead on the spot and injured four others. The injured were rushed to the Munshiganj General Hospital.

Amongst the injured Babu succumbed to his injuries while taking to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital from there for better treatment.
