DHAKA: The outstanding salaries and bonuses of Tuba Group, which is witnessing workers’ protest since Tuesday, will be paid within seven working days.

The disclosure came from in a press briefing at Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters’ Association (BGMEA) Headquarters in the city on Thursday afternoon.

BGMEA Vice President SM Mannan Kochi was talking to journalists at the press meet.

Besides, the workers’ leader said they do nave nay faith over the assurance of the BGMEA.

Several hundreds of workers of Tuba Group have been continuing their hunger strike for the third consecutive day demanding their outstanding salaries and Eid bonus.
