DHAKA: In a latest move, the government Thursday made significant changes to the public administration through 10 Deputy Secretary- level transfers and postings.  

According to an Establishment Ministry notification, Shishir Kumar Roy, Deputy Director of Sylhet Youth Development Department, was made Deputy Director of ‘ Barisal University Establishment’ project.   

Director of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Mushfiq Ahmed Shamim was made secretary of the same institution while Deputy Secretary of Home Ministry Afroza Pervin went to his place.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kurigram Faruk Hossain was made Secretary of the National Museum. Deputy Secretary of the Information Ministry Abu Taleb Molla was transferred as Deputy Waqf Administrator to Bangladesh Waqf Administrator’s office.

Director of the National Academy of Primary Education of Mymensingh Nasim Uddin was transferred to the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) as its member.

Deputy Secretary of Disaster Management and Relief Partho Protim Dev was transferred to Relief and Rehabilitation Department as Director.

Mridul Kanti Ghosh joined in Establishment Ministry for posting as the Project Director of ‘Dinajpur District Jail Reconstruction’ project.

On the other hand, Chief Executive Officer of Satkhira District Parishad Md Ali Nur was transferred to Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretariat as Director.

Besides, Director of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre Md Selim Reza was sent to the recruitment branch-3 of the Establishment Ministry for next posting.
