DHAKA: Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday categorically said the government is going to make the validity of the passport 10 years in stead of five years.

The planning minister made the disclosure while talking to journalists after a project meeting on Tuesday.

He also said passport offices would be available in district level where necessary.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the project meeting where four projects involving Tk 720 crore given approval.
