12 Pinak victims Buried

MADARIPUR: The 12 unidentified bodies were buried at Shibchar graveyard of the district on Friday. 

The burial process started after Jumma prayer under the supervision of the deputy commissioner of Madaripur. 

The 12 bodies were kept at Pachchar government primary school field but none could confirm the identity of the bodies. 

Earlier on Monday, the launch, Pinak-6, that was carrying more than 200 passengers, capsized near Mawa Ghat in Lohajang upazila of Munshiganj district. 

Superintendent of Police Khandakar Faridul Islam told banglanews, “We kept the bodies under our management for the last 24 hours and district administration took initiatives to burry the bodies as none could confirm the identity of the bodies.”
