TANGAIL: Unidentified miscreants shot dead a passerby in Sadar upazila of the district at 10:30am Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Haque Mia, 42, son of one late Hyder Ali, resident of Charhuga village.

Village police Rekat Ali told banglanews, “Miscreants shot Haque when he was walking through the road in the area.”

He was rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead, he added.

Officer-in-Charge of Tangail Model Thana Akteruzzman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
