KISHOREGANJ: Two minors and also cousin brothers drowned in a wetland at Dash Pakhi village under Katiadi upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday noon.

The deceased were identified as Atikul, 7, son of Farid Mia and Akil, 6, son of Tara Mia, residents of the area.

Locals said that the boys were playing by the wetland of their house at the noon. In one stage, they fell in water.

Later, the family members of the duo found them floating around 5:00pm.

They were rushed to Upazila Health Complex where the on duty doctor declared them dead.

On duty doctor of Katiadi Upazila Health Complex confirmed the matter to banglanews.
