FROM PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE: The Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh Anneli Lindahl Kenny on Tuesday praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) within the time.

Kenny said, “The leadership of Sheikh Hasina is being praised around the globe for achieving the goals of establishing women’s rights and empowering them and reducing child mortality rate.”

Kenny praised the achievements by Bangladesh while paying her final visit at Prime Minister’s Office as ambassador.

The premier also praised her country’s role and friendship since the liberation.
