MYMENSINGH: At least four people were killed and two others injured in a road crash on Dhaka- Mymensingh highway in Beltali area on Friday morning.

The accident took place at 6:00am.

Details of the deceased and the injured could not be known immediately.

Police said a Mymensingh-bound passenger bus of Ena Paribahan collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw in the area, leaving two people dead on the spot and four others injured.”

The inured were taken to Mymansingh Medical Collage Hospital where two succumbed to their injuries.

Kotwali Model Thana Sub-Inspector Ambar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The accident caused a halt to the vehicular movement on the highway for an hour.
