MYMENSINGH: Country’s one of the popular singers, Nancy, attempted to commit suicide taking sleeping pills over family feud on Saturday.

A rumor spread around 8:00pm that the singer attempted to commit suicide taking 60 sleeping pills at her Netrokona residence.

In a critical condition, she was first rushed to Netrokona Sadar Hospital and later shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

She is now out of danger and being given treatment at the medical college hospital till filing the report.

Her husband, however, denying the possibilities of Nancy’s suicide, told banglanews that nothing happened like that though his statement was proved false just after a few moments.

Nazmun Nahar Nancy was brought by an ambulance of Netrokona Ideal Hospital Private Limited to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
