DHAKA: An auto-rickshaw driver was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants in Mirpur area of the city on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Hasan, 25, son of Abdul Mannan, resided in Mirpur-12, B-block-14, House no. 44.

Family sources said that miscreants attacked the victim in the area, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injures around 7:30am.

DMCH police outpost in-charge Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
