DHAKA: The customs authority seized 245 foreign cigarettes cartons from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in city on Sunday. 

Sources said that the law enforcers noticed the cartons in two abandoned luggages at lost and found counter of the airport. 

Confirming the matter, Airport Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department Director General Moinul Khan told banglanews, “The seized cigarettes are worth about Tk 5 lakhs.”
