DHAKA: Environment and Forest Minister Anwar Hossain Manju on Tuesday put emphasis on setting the work policies by giving priorities on the climate crisis.
The environment minister came up with the observation while addressing a program of unveiling a report organized by Asian Development Bank (ADB) in a city hotel.
The report on ‘New Asian Development Bank Climate and Economic Report on South Asia’ was unveiled at the function.
He said, “Different initiatives have been taken on priority basis to face the climate crisis.”
“Sometimes, we blame that we are not getting funds from the donors, but we should ensure the management of the received money,” he told his audience.
Environment secretary Shafiqur Rahman Patwary delivered the welcome speech.
The function was also addressed, among others, by environment specialist Mahfuzuddin Ahmed, ADB country director Kazuhiko Higuchi and ADB vice president Bindu N Lohani.
