DHAKA: Three Bangladeshi construction workers were killed as they were sandwiched under a concrete span in Kota Damansara area of Malaysia on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Faruq Khan, Mohammad Elahi Hossain and Mohammad Alauddin Mallik.

They worked for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Corporation.

Sanaullah, a colleague of the victims, told banglanews that the incident took place around 8:30pm (Malaysia local time).

MRT Corporation Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said the reason behind the incident would be revealed soon.

The Malaysia government news agency confirmed the matter.
