DHAKA: A team of researchers, including university faculties, journalists and development workers, paid a visit to the Day Care Centre run by Sajida Foundation with support from the Concern Worldwide and UNDP on Wednesday morning.
About 40 children of the urban homeless shared their experiences and overall learning they are undergoing in the centre, said a press release.
Sheikh Shafiul Islam, Research Consultant of Concern Worldwide, led the team.
Project Officer of Concern Worldwide Murshida, Project Coordinator of SAJIDA Foundation M Ershad Ali, Researcher and University Faculty Rafiquzzaman, research associates Mahmuda Kona, Amina Islam, Tareq-uz-Zaman and Riadul Hasan were in the team greeted by Akhi Bhattacharjee, Centre Manager, SAJIDA Foundation, the news release added.
It is mentionable that SAJIDA Foundation has been running the Day Care Centre for the Urban Homeless children for four years.
