NARAYANGANJ:  A Narayanganj court on Wednesday sent 15 accused, including three Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel, who gave confessional statements, to jail.

Senior Judicial Magistrate AKM Mohiuddin placed the order in the morning and fixed October 13 as the next hearing date after they were produced before the court.

Narayanganj Court Police Inspector Habibur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Narayanganj District Ainjibi Samity President Advocate Sakhawat Hossain told banglanews that the court ordered the IO to submit investigative report by October 13.

Earlier, Narayanganj City Corporation ward councilor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarker and five others were abducted on April 27.

Their bodies were recovered from the Shitalakkhya River after three days.
