DHAKA: The law enforcers freed Garments Sramik Oikya Federation leader Mosrefa Mishu on Wednesday night hours after her detention.

Officer-in-Charge MA Jalil of Badda Police Station confirmed the matter to banglanews. He said she was released around 8:00pm.

Earlier in the day, police detained Mishu from a scheduled protest possession of Tuba Group workers in front of the factory in city’s Badda area in the afternoon.

Badda Thana police and workers also locked into a clash while the workers gathered in the area, said a spot account.

Police detained Mishu accusing her to make hindrance of vehicle plying on the road.

Later, she was taken her to the metropolitan detective branch headquarters for interrogation, the OC added.
