DHAKA: Music Director Shawkat Ali Emon has been arrested with the allegation of releasing nude pictures and video from his Bailey road residence in the city early Thursday.

Police detained him as per allegation by his “so-called wife” Jinat Kabir.

Ramna thana duty officer Mazurul told banglanews that Jinat Kabir filed a case with Ramna Thana on August 18. Then as per allegation filed under section 57 of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) act, police arrested Emon around 1:00am.

Police, however, sized innumerable nude film, pictures and laptop from the possession of Emon.
