CHITTAGONG: A man was killed and two others were injured as an express train hit a truck at level crossing in city gate area of the port city on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Sajib, 6, helper of the truck driver.
   
Sources said that Nasirabad Express train, coming from Mymensingh, knocked the truck, carrying water tank, around 6:00am while it was passing through the level crossing, leaving one dead on the spot and injured others.

Injured driver and another helper were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. 

GRP Thana Officer-in-Charge Yasin Faruk confirmed the matter to banglanews.
