KHULNA: Angry mob lynched a snatcher and injured another one in Basupara area of the city early Friday.

The snatcher was identified as Fayzul, 28.

Locals said that Fayzul and his associate Al Mamun were caught red handed while they were snatching in the area.

The angry mob gave them a good thrashing, leaving them injured critically.

They were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital where Fayzul succumbed to his injuries.

However, earlier on Thursday, a gang of snatchers grabbed Tk 60-lakh from a businessman.

Assistant Commissioner of Police of Sonadanga Zone Mollah Azad Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
