TANGAIL: Three people including a woman were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Deulabari area under Ghatail upazila on Friday. 

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said that a Tangail-bound passenger bus collided head on with a Tempu from opposite direction in the area around 4:45pm, leaving three passengers of Tempu dead on the spot. 

Confirming the matter Ghatail Thana Officer-in-Charge Fazlul Kabir told banglanews, “The injured were sent to Tangail Medical College Hospital.”
