RMG worker commits suicide in city

DHAKA: A female readymade garments (RMG) worker allegedly committed suicide by hanging from ceiling with her scarf at her residence in city’s Kafrul area on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Taslima Akter, 18, daughter of Kader.

Police sources said that her body was found hanging from ceiling with her scarf at her rented house around 10:00am.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.

Sub-Inspector of Kafrul Thana Sadananda Baidya confirmed the matter to banglanews.
