NARAYANGANJ: Three people were electrocuted in two separate incidents in Fatullah and Sonargaon areas of the district on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Abdus Samad, 42, hailed from Jamalpur district and M Delowar Hossain, 25 and Shawkat Ali, 35, from Chittagong district.

At Fatullah, local sources said Abdus Samad were electrocuted while he was working at a under construction building in Panchabat area.

On the other hand, two people were electrocuted when they came in contact of an iron rod which was attached with a live electric wire in Sonargaon in the afternoon.

The bodies were sent to Narayanganj Hospital morgue.

Sonargaon Thana Officer-in-Charge M Rezaul Haque and on duty doctor of Narayanganj Hospital MA Mannan confirmed the matters to banglanews.
