TANGAIL: Police detained a fake magistrate with three others while running a mobile court in Natun Bazar area under Dhanbari upazila of the district on Sunday night.

The detainees are- Fake Magistrate Murad Hossain, 30, son of Muktar Hossain, Zitu Mia, 25, son of Abdul Kuddus Mia, Shariful Islam, son of Lokman Hossain, and Alamgir Hossain, son of Yasin Morol.

Meanwhile, a microbus was seized from the spot.

Dhanbari Assistant Commissioner (land) Selim Reza told banglanews the the fake mobile court team raided several bakeries, stretches Madhupur to Dhonbari, and fined those.

On information, law enforcers challenged the fake magistrate and they failed to show any legal papers.

Later, police detained the fake magistrate and others around 7:30pm.

Beside, Dhanbari Assistant Commissioner (land) and Executive Magistrate Selim Reza awarded them one year jail term and fined Tk 1,000, in default, three months more jail term.
