DHAKA: Customs officials seized 893 cartons foreign cigarette worth Tk 20 lakhs from a flight at Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Monday morning.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Customs Intelligence Director Moinul Khan said, “The cigarettes were recovered at 5:15am from a flight of Qatar Airways that came from Doha via Pakistan.”

“No one was held in this connection,” he added.
