FROM AHMEDABAD (GUJRAT): Blood administration components are set to go from Ahmedabad of India to Bangladesh.

World Health Organization (WHO) approved the components to use in taking and giving bloods in human body.

World Medical System’s proprietor Kazi Abu Bakar is taking the blood administration equipments. After staying five days in Ahmedabad, he purchased these medical accessories from Alfa Therapeutics.

While talking to Bangladeshi businessman at a hotel here, he said the Bangladesh government had imposed some regulations past year to bring the suppliers of this kind of medical kits to local hospitals and diagnosis centers in a process.

Abu Bakar said it is a very sensitive work in taking and giving blood in human body. Naturally, the kits are also sensitive. Most of Bangladeshi consumers use Chinese kits. So, the Chinese products have flashed away the market.

They are also taking extra prices for these medical components. Besides, the supplier company lacks WHO approval.

For these reasons, Bangladesh government has introduced licensing and registration regulation to bring them under control.

Mentioning his enterprise is certified, Abu Bakar said Alfa Therapeutics has reputation in this business. Bangladesh government has no objection to bring kits from this company.

Alfa produces medical kits in an environment friendly factory based on 55,000 sqft in Ahmedabad.

The production process goes under IOS-2000 quality management and product management systems.

Alfa is also very committed to its business partners, Abu Bakar commented adding that he did not face any obstacle in opening Letter of Credit.

As a quality leader Alfa aims to provide flawless products with lower prices.

Abu Bakar said that this has made him capable to provide a kit in a price of taka 18 to 20 in Bangladeshi hospitals.

Currently, the kit is being sold in a price of taka 60 to 65.

Abu Bakar thinks that this will give patients a relief from the monopoly of business.

He also thinks that Bangladesh government’s LC facilities will also pave ways to get quality medical products from different countries.

But the factories in Ahmedabad are producing world-class medical products, Abu Bakar.
