FROM EAST RAJABAJAR: Islami Chhatra Sena called day long hartal in Dhaka city for Sunday protesting the killing incident of Channel I program presenter Maulana Nurul Islam Faruqui.
Islami Chhatra Sena Secretary Imran Tushar declared the programme at 12:15am on Wednesday.
Earlier, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) Executive Secretary General Maulana Mohammad Masud Hossain Al Kaderi declared nationwide protest for Thursday.
On Wednesday night, miscreants stabbed the program presenter of Channel I, one of the leading private television channels of the country, to death at East Rajabazar in the city.
