FROM BAHRAIN: A Bangladeshi expatriate was killed in a road accident in Manama of Bahrain on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Mahsin Mia, 44, son of Abdul Hamid. His Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) number is 701043830

Local sources said that on that day, Mahsin Mia, who worked in a cleaning company there, was working in the area as usual. Then a speedy vehicle ran over him around 7:30am (local time), leaving him dead on the spot.

Later, police detained the killer driver from the spot.

Newly appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Major General KM Mominur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
