Dhaka: Elder brother Mostafizur Rahman allegedly killed his younger Maksudur Rahman Bhuiyan, 45, following family feuds at Uttara in the city on Friday midnight.

Police recovered and sent the body to DMCH morgue. Police couldn’t arrest the killer yet.

Police sources said Maksud lived at a house of No. 7 sector of Uttara, with his elder brother who lived in Saudi Arabia with family, nine months ago.

The deceased eldest brother Mushfiqur Rahman, a primary teacher of Comilla, informed that the dispute began between Maksud and Mostafiz over living in a house together.

He also informed that Mostafiz returned from village home of Comilla on Friday night but his younger brother Maksud made bar to enter the house at Uttara. Later, Mostafiz entered the house with assistance of police. They quarreled at night following the matter.

SI of Uttara Thana Golam Mostafa said the family members admitted the injured at Uttara Adhunik Hospital and duty doctor declared him dead. After that Mostafiz, allegedly killer tried to burry the body secretly to hide the incident.
 
OC of Uttara Thana Rezaul Karim suspected that Maksud might have been killed due to the incident.
