GAZIPUR: Police recovered here 11 pieces of cocktail from Bastuhara Mosque area under Nayapara in city early Friday.

Sources told banglanews that locals after noticing the cocktails informed local thana.

The cocktails were spotted near the mosque around 12:00 am in an abandoned condition, they added.

Joydebpur Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Mahfujur Rahman, confirming the matter, said that police, after being informed, recovered the cocktails from that area and inactive those drowning in water.

However, the bomb disposal team of police will examine the explosives.
