JHALOKATHI:  A Jalakathi court exempted college Student Limon Hossain from the case of obstructing police in discharging duties filed by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). 

District and Session Judge Court’s chief judicial magistrate Abu Shamim Azad passed the order around 12:00pm. 

Limon’s lawyer Akkas Sikdar confirmed the matter to banglanews. 

Following an order of home ministry on July 9, both the cases against him were withdrawn.

Earlier on July 29, Jhalakathi Special Tribunal-2 Justice Kiran Shankar Haldar exempted Limon from the charge of firearms case.
