DHAKA: The 10th National Parliament’s third session is going to be commenced on Monday.
Sources told banglanews that the House will sit at 5pm on that day. Nine bills are expected to be tabled in the parliament during the session.
The bill includes High-Tech Park Authority (amendment) bill, DNA bill and three separate bills on Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari hill district councils (amendment).
President Abdul Hamid on August 11 convened this session. The president summoned the third session to comply with the constitutional obligation of not stretching the gap between two sessions beyond 60 days.
However, the upcoming session would likely be of short duration unless emergent issues surfaced.
The last session ended on July 3.
