DHAKA: Government Railway Police (GRP) detained a woman with 870 pieces of Yaba tablets in Kamalapur Railway Station of the city on Sunday.

The detainee was identified as Shahida, 27.

Confirming the matter, Kamalapur Station GRP Thana Officer-In-Charge Abdul Mazid told banglanews that police suspected the woman after he had got down at the station from Turna Nishitha Express Train at 9:00am.

Later, police searched her body, recovered the yaba tables from the sensitive part of the body and nabbed her, he added.

The woman is being interrogated at the thana, Mazid added.
