DHAKA: An injured popcorn seller succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Monday noon.

The deceased was identified as Sohag, 26, son of Amir Hossain, hailed from Faridpur.

Brother-in-law of the deceased, Abul Kashem, said earlier on Sunday afternoon he was injured critically as a passenger bus knocked him down in city’s Shahbagh area.

He was rushed to DMCH immediately after the accident but on duty doctors declared him dead on Monday around 2:00pm, he added.

Sub-Inspector of Shahbagh Thana Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
